How to add special effects to a short film?

Need help filming a love scene for my short film?

• I am making my first short film for fun, if it turns out well i would try to get it into a film festival. I am using a canon 550 and canon hv40 for this film. I got most of the film finished so far, i have to edit in adobe after effects and sony vegas. But the only hep i need on is the love scene, the two characters in the movie are my friends and agreed to star in this film. But how do i finish the love scene. Could i let them have real sex, and just not show there privates. I figured this would be the best way, the movies do look so real. Also, could i just put a cloth covering there privates, and let them do fake sex. I preferred to do it with the real sex, but i don't want my film to be consider porn. I won't even show there privates either, so would this be acceptable for film standards. They won't even know its real, im going to add a lot of effects into the film.

  i think it should definately be a fake sex scene in romannce stories more about passion and love than sex itself so the fact that they would be having real sex wouldnt matter.
