Art Job - do A-Levels & GCSEs mean anything to a art designing agency employer?

  • I dont want to waste money and time going into do a foundation degree & then having to go to UNI on a 3/4 yr course when the prices are risng to £9000 a yr + !! I know it will be good experience but I want to get started now! lol i have A in art GCSE, A* in Graphics practical coursework GCSE, A in Graphic design GCSE A in Art ALevel, B in Graphic Design Alevel and C in Photography Alevel. Surely I can take action now with this under my belt. Im so eager lol any suggestions? I thought of setting up my own online business and selling portrait work too.

Your best bet is to get hold of a newspaper or magazine (or website) where the sort of jobs you think you will be interested in are advertised. What qualifications do they ask for? If they all want people with degrees, you'll need a degree.
