What do you think of contemporary art?

Where do you think art headed? what is in store for the future of art?

• In the past there was cave art. then came art that told a story. (egypt, rome, greece, etc) then the church dominated the art scene. the renaissance flourished with paintings, plays, music, sculpture, and architecture. Along come the invention of the camera and art goes wild beginning with the impressionist's, then the cubist, and modern art. today music, and hollywood have really stollen the show. people want to be entertained by all the sciences verses a visual depiction. where is art headed? lets have a debate, or make an educated guess of where you think art will go in the years to come.

  Good movies still pay quantum bucks. A paid artist just told me,art doesn't know,where it wants to go. It's all abstract now and has been for years There's no demand for quality .Justin Beiber,Lady Gaga and untalented rappers are the where the flow is going. Nationwide it's country western. Reality shows with untalented clowns rule the world.
