Do you have any creative ideas for a US History Project?

I need some ideas for a creative history project?

  • Hi, in history class I have a project (with a partner) about the French Revolution. We chose to do Marie Antoinette's early life, and how it led to her vanity when she became queen. I already did the paper, but we also need a creative visual. My teacher's ok with pretty much anything, but I can't seem to think of anything creative now. Any ideas? thanks

There's a lot! But if you want creative, it means it will be time consuming. You can make videos, and not with horrible acting. Try stop motion based off a story you make about Antoinette. You can also try to do a cartoon short (Flash). Another thing you can do is make your own book. There are various types of book binding. We usually just see perfect or cover binding, but there are many types! Saddle Stitch, Accordian, Hard Cover, etc. You can make a miniature model of her. This is a creative process that will take an hour for you to come up with a creative idea. These are some typical ones I thought of.

You could make examples of her life by how she used to live by creating a replica of where she came from say out of cardboard or even a shoe box for her home, and then do the same for when she became queen. If you want to get really creative you could make dolls of her too. Say for when she became queen give her a ridiculous and huge hairstyle :) sorry if this didn't help but i hope it'll start your creativity :)
