How do I get an acting and modeling agent?

So I want to get into the modeling business?

• I am a teenage girl who wants to maybe get a modeling agent. I have been trying to get an acting agent for a while now, and I've decided that I would try to get into modeling while I'm waiting. I've been told by many people I'm beautiful enough to be a model (friends, family, acting headshot photographer, etc..) so I'm gonna give it a try. I have a ton of questions though. Do you have to send in a modeling resume like you do with acting? Because I dont see how beginners could have any items on there because modeling isn't really a thing you can get experience with without an agent already. Also, do I need to get certain headshots taken before sending it in? Because I have an awesome professional acting headshot that I think will do great. Lastly, what should I write in the cover letter? And anything else I'm missing please tell me it will be such a big help! Answers much appreciated!
