I have an 1865 silver dollar what is it worth?

go to ebay and find out what other people are selling the same silver dollar for. Then try to price it according to that. Also try finding a coin collectors shop and get their opinoin on the matter. Much luck!

It depends very much on the condition. Do NOT polish it -- that will reduce its value considerably.

Be very very careful when you go to polishing it because you can deflate that value a whole lot. I am not sure of the value depends on how rare the coin is, and if the still produce it anymore. Take it to a coin dealer but do not let him take it to the back make him check it in front of you and know the coin inside and out. Know what your coin looks like all distinctive markings stuff like that this is to insure that after he checks if for the value that you get your coin back and not some replacement coin.

i am a c.oin collector i wish i could seee the other side , dont try to polish it in any way ido believe it to be a heraldic eagle silver dollar i believe it has a seated liberty on the other side. i do need to see the other side to grade it but it could be worthabout 500 hundred dollars

DO NOT POLISH IT, it will ruin the value. Your coin looks to be in excellent condition. No wear on the lines in the shield. For current value, I would check out ebay.
