What can I do to make my art portfolio better?

How do you make an art portfolio?

  • Its not to show to clients or to sell to people or anything. It is just to keep my works in a nice place, so i don't loose/ruin them. Again. It is just to keep my Original art. I don't want to go out and buy anything, i want to make it.how do You make an art portfolio?

    If you just want to store them, get a plastic bin for your larger work and put a piece of newsprint or tracing paper in between each of them. For the smaller work, get some accordion file folders. Really you just need something that will keep out moisture and dust. If you are thinking of using something that you can take out and show people, get a large scrapbook album and some plastic sleeves.

Acid free paper. You need "archival quality" supplies. Start with paste board or really heavy paper in poster board size.
