How can a 13 year old make money off his art?

  • Hello, I am 13 years old, (if it matters) and I am going to be buying a snake soon but have no money! I am really into art, and really go at art. So I decided that I am going to sell it so I can make money. I realize that Im not going to get very much. But how should I go about selling? I have drawings that I have done. and then I have some paintings.. Price the same? please help.. Thanks for your time

    Set up a website online. Put on your pictures and if you can, publicise it online. Maybe on Facebook? Then, you could also put on some adverts which will bring in some revenue... Do paintings more than sketches, the bigger the project, the more you charge. Don't overprice - then you are more likely to get people to buy your stuff.

Er, what has buying a snake got to do with anything? As far as selling pictures goes, all you could do is take some examples to art galleries and ask if they would be interested in displaying them and selling them for you. The gallery would help you with such things as pricing, etc. The pictures and drawings would have to be extremely good and very nicely framed. Good luck!
