Does anyone know anything about art, like an art expert about art?

• this is the only person i never came across in my book, every other question about the other artist i was able to answer but these, can someone please help me answer these What were the purposes and artists' intentions in Christo and Jeanne-Claude's The Gates? How did Christo and Jeanne-Claude execute this project The Gates? Do you consider this art? Do you like this type of art? How might Japanese viewers have interpreted this work differently from American viewers?

  situation art especially in a city is designed to make a lot of people think - apparently the installation was loved and hated in equal measure which sounds like success - failure would have been indifference- how could it not be art? it was not natural and it was conceived as a visual idea and carried out. I love the idea because of the colour and movement and possibility of connecting to the shinto japanese culture - japanese viewers might have been more plugged in to the torrii shinto shrines and have a relationship with inari the god of prosperity in the world
