How do you become a model?

What do models do/ how much do they make/ where do I go to become a model?

• I'm thinking about becoming a model what does it take, what do they do exactly, where do I even go to become one? I also know that there are different types of models what kind of a model does this description fall under I am tall 5'8" and a half, my measurements are(all in inches) 33.5 fullest part of breasts, 28 under neath, 27 waist, 34.5 hips, 38 fullest part around bum, and size 5 pants. People always tell me that I should be a Victoria's Secret Model or model and say that I am so pretty( sorry if I sound conceded). I think personally that they're crazy because I am far too fat to be a model models are like walking twigs nowadays and I have seen far prettier faces. People also rate me a 9 on a scale of 1-10. What do you guys think where do I even begin?

  If the camera loves you then you have a chance. Every newspaper add you see, every magazine page and every catalog has pictures of attractive people. These people are all models - not necessarily high fashion - but working at least. This is an extremely self promoting business. If you have a great body, a charming personality, a willingness to please the sponsors and work with the crews; as well as persistence and determination to survive and thrive in the business in spite of many set backs - you have a chance. But competition is fierce. Everybody wants the top spots. A few will make it if they do not mind living out suitcases on the road most of the time. Not everyone will be offered the high paying and famous jobs. You can see that you need to be educated - worldly and academically. How will you interact with royalty? You need broad interests in worldly pursuits. The drama department of the local university probably can offer many avenues of education for the career.
