How to whistle with 2 fingers?

How do you whistle with 2 fingers in your mouth?

  • I've tried, but I only ended up with slobbery fingers. Help with details please!

    HI BKL. I have not done that in forever... so I just tried my method and it still works. :)) So try this: With your right hand touch the very tips of your thumb and third finger... making a circle and take the other fingers completely out of the way. Insert this circle into your mouth. Tuck your lips in around your upper and lower teeth, like protecting them...and make the bone parts of your finger push against the corners of your mouth and kind of bite down around your fingers....and at the same time... push the ends/tips of the fingernails against the under side tip of your tongue. Don't let the fingers push your tongue to the back of your mouth at all. This is a push-push idea... where the underside of your tongue is pushing against your fingernails and your fingernails are pushing hard against your tongue... with quiet a bit of pressure. Keep the tongue relatively close to the lips. Now... blow hard against your fingernails which should be the surface touching the tongue. Keep doing that. It is really hard to describe something like this on a computer screen... and I was actually going through the steps as I was typing them out. If you can understand just keep trying. I promise, I have one of the LOUDEST whistles I know of. Hope that helps and let me know if it did. : o~ ~

If you're fingers are getting slobbery then it's likely that you are putting your fingers too far in. You want to use the fingers to manipulate your tongue into producing a flute almost. Take your two index fingers and place them in your mouth in a position that folds the tongue over about 3/4 to full, push your tongue toward your fingers and blow out. You might have to try different variations but thats the general way.

Oh my god i have this issue aswell, i havnt been able to whistle with my fingers since i was born, its like a disability.
