What is to be included in a high school portfolio?

How to properly put together an admissions portfolio to private arts school?(HELP NEEDED!)?

• So, I'm applying to Laguna College of Art & Design. I'm just having a hard time figuring out the process of how to put together this portfolio. Maybe I'm just nervous and I can't think straight. The website says, "When submitting your portfolio by mail, a digital (CD or DVD) or a slide presentation is preferred. Digital portfolio images should be saved as .jpg files. Slides should be mounted in an 8.5” x 11” plastic sheet. Slides should be labeled at the top with your name, the work’s title, dimensions, media, completion date, and any other relevant information.Your portfolio should include an inventory list that identifies each work by number, title, size, media, and completion date." ---> Can someone tell me a list/step by step process on what I need to do etc? By slides, do they mean a powerpoint presentation? By inventory, do they mean I just type up a list with information on each piece? My friend told me it means this, "by slide presentation they mean the old-fashioned slides, for a slide projector. so don't worry about that. what you'll give them is a PDF with 1 image per page. the inventory list will be a list of all the details of your images, in order of appearance." But what is a PDF with 1 image per page and how do I go about making this? I want to make sure I make this professional as possible considering I will be applying as a college transfer student. Please Please Please and Thank you! Help much appreciated. I'm on a short amount of time to finish all this up. (10 points to best informative descriptive answer!)

  you make the file exactly how you want it to be and save as a pdf. But get someone who is a computer buff to help you given that that is your biggest problem you need someone who is completely at home with computers slides they are talking about actual slides - transparencies I suggest that you go with j.pegs you need to match up the actual picture information to a list as an index (inventory) so decide what to show and which pieces first the number each piece and give the information and the top and then give the list that ask for on the first page
