• I have done the entire quiz myself but this question doesnt make sense ! After Romeo dies the immediate affect was Juliet killed herself ! Romeo was exciled, then the Nurse advises Juliet to forget about the banished Romeo and marry Paris, then Balthasar visits Romeo in Mantua with news that Juliet is dead. And that is when romeo kills himself at her side then she kills herself. the end ! so what could the answer possibly be ??? For the action (effect) below, choose the immediate cause of that event. Romeo drinks the poison and dies by Juliet's side. (A) Prince Escalus sentences Romeo to exile (banishment); if he is seen in Verona, he will be killed. (B) The Nurse advises Juliet to forget the banished Romeo and to marry the good-looking Paris. (C) Balthasar visits Romeo in Mantua with news that Juliet is dead, for he saw her being buried.

  C is the answer b/c that is the effect of the action. Its been awhile but from what I remember is he thought she was dead but she wasn't actually he finds out kills himself at her bedside..she wakes up then kills herself. Soo...it was all a communication it is very confusing. Edit: Well they both died together in a room....at the same time is what really happen the rest was all just hearsay by the other characters. The question is just really poorly written.
