Is social science related to social care?

I need a social science related topic..?

• I am turning in an application and I need to write an essay on any social science related topic. I really want it to do with something like the arts, or the environment. It would be great it if wasn't too complex or too simple of a topic. Thank you.

  It would help if you had stated what the application was for...but: Is the surge in advertising "green" products going to aid the environment or in fact simply pollute it more? Should the government be supporting artistic efforts through museums and such, or should they be totally privately funded? Are the current efforts on helping the environment pushing more conformity on people, or do they make people more independent? Are the current fads in the arts (music, film, TV) causing more conformity pressure or lessening it on adolescents in the United States? If this is for a college application, they will be more interested in your thesis, structure, logic and mechanics than the exact arguments. Use the writing process...plan, rough draft, revise, have others review and comment, revise, then final draft...it works.
