Where do I find a list of professional rules of etiquette?

Reliable source and/or list about the rules a Scientologists must follow?

  • I'm doing a project on scientology and I need a list and/or source where I can find the rules to become a scientologist. Not just like "be loyal" "respect others" and what not, I need a complete list, (including these) but also like "refrain from conversing with non-members". I'm pretty sure there's probably a list like that... I just can't find it! I've ordered in books from my local library and they haven't come in yet, and I've been surfing the web for a list for two days! Please help! Thanks!

  • Answer:

The reason you can't find rules like "refrain from conversing from non-members" is because there is no such rule. Take a look at the Aims of Scientology. How could we achieve our goals if we can't communicate? The Aims of Scientology by L. Ron Hubbard A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where man is free to rise to greater heights, are the aims of Scientology. First announced to an enturbulated [a coined word basically meaning turbulent] world in 1950, these aims are well within the grasp of our technology. Nonpolitical in nature, Scientology welcomes any individual of any creed, race or nation. We seek no revolution. We seek only evolution to higher states of being for the individual and for society. We are achieving our aims." For what Scientology actually is please look at the site http://www.scientology.org ThetaAlways is correct. We do NOT have rules of what a Scientologist MUST do. We have an unenforced common sense moral code which is laid out in The Way to Happiness precepts that you can find here: http://www.thewaytohappiness.org/#/excerpt/videos/twth-film-intro

Sorry to disappoint but you can't find it cos we don't have a list like that. We Scientologists don't lay down rules that our members MUST follow. A fundamental part of our religion considers that Man is basically good. Not natively evil unless forced to "be good" . We use a common sense non religious morale code written by L.Ron Hubbard. But it is not "enforced" in any way. It contains 21 Precepts. It's called "The Way To Happiness." I'm not going to list the 21 Precepts, you can Google it, if you want, or order it from your local library. (but I doubt you will be interested in them since they don't fit with what you are so desperately looking for.)

To answer, rules don't exist. And thetaalways, man has always been evil. He may be forced to become evil, but he has a choice to accept it. If someone points a gun at my head, I won't back down just because I'll die. You guys are wimps, not doing the right things, but I'm not, at least.
