What is social network?

When you go on a social network what do you expect?

• Okay, just wondering from all you social and non-social going network people, when you go on a social network or sign up for one what do you expect and what do you know is a common social network feature? As in when you get on myspace you expect to be able to message your friends, see who's online, post bulletins, update status, read bulletins, and more. But what feature is most common? If you only use myspace what about it do you like and not like? What can myspace do to improve? This has nothing to do with myspace wanting to improve but just me wondering what people expect, and want and most importantly what the need!

  Well I love sites where I can blog, where is more about sharing opinions with others and or telling others our life experiences, I'm not too crazy about finding new hotties ont he web to holler at. I do have a myspace where I keep in touch with old highschool friends. I would have to say that what I love most about Myspace is being able to customize my page in any way I can.
