1. I have tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and therefore I cannot stand silence. I've got music playing at all times. 2. When I'm home alone I pretend I'm on stage and I sing and dance around the house 3. I'm diagnosed with social anxiety disorder and I have an intense fear when it comes to public speaking. I fainted four times in school when we had to do speeches and eventually I was excused from doing it. I probably should go to therapy but that scares me to 4. I can go naked through a metal detector at an airport and it will still go off as I have two metal plates in my head after a stranger hit me with his car and I was trapped under it 5. I'm engaged and due to marry the stranger who drove that car above. Life is funny sometimes =)) I'll give you a bonus: 6. 1. I grew up in El Monte, CA in the early 70's and we had a big pigeon coop out in the back yard. We had about 50 homing pigeons. I live in a big city now and I'm more tolerant of the nasty street pigeons than most! 2. My friend built me a 7 foot tall loft bed out of PVC pipe and it's the best bed I ever had! 3. I was holding my Dad's hand when he died. 4. I spent 3 weeks backpacking in Europe in 1992, and we timed our travels to see the Pope speak in Vatican Square on Easter Day. What an experience! Sadly, the Sistine Chapel was closed for repairs! 5. When I accidentally found I have a half sister who was put up for adoption the year before I was born, I started looking for her. It took ten years, but she's amazing! Our voices are carbon copies, we have similar mannerisms, and she, I and our brother are all artistic. She looks more like our brother than she does me with her blue eyes. Turns out we were attending the same university at the same time, she studying Dance, me Creative Writing. The buildings were nearly adjacent, and we probably passed each other many times without knowing.

#1 - I got kicked out of kinder garden because I knew too much (I was studying Newton's laws of motion when I was four and a half) #2 - When I came to the United States it took me less than a month to learn English. #3 - I was banned from my high school Forum (real forum, not online) because I stood up against the administration of my school when they started lowering standards so more people could graduate, and called the Department of Education on them. #4 - I've been undergoing treatment for severe depression for almost two years now, including almost every anti depressant and shock therapy. #5 - I've come to the conclusion that humanity must change drastically if we are to survive our own irrationality. I started a blog just yesterday at http://psychological-evolution.blogspot.com/ where I have been posting some of my thoughts on this eminent change.
