What is science? what is the defination of science in our practical life and where is religion.?

  The word science comes from old French and is derived from the word "knowledge." Thjere are two classifications, the natural sciences which study natural phenomena including biological life, and social science which study human life, behaviour and societies. These groups are empirical sciences which means the knowledge must be gased on observable phenomena (events, happenings) and is capabe of being tested for validity by other researchers working under the same conditions. This is termed "scientific method." It explains the event of nature in a reproducible way and uses the reproductions to make useful predictions. Again, this is done through observation and/or experimentation that simulates natural events under controlled conditions. This gives us an objective process to find solutions to problems is scientific and technological fields. There are also related disciplines such as engineering and health sciences. Mathematics (statistics and logic) is classed as a formal science and has similarities and differences with the natural and social sciences. Legitimate arguments called the "problem of demarcation" are raised about where the borders of science and non-science are - usually among the philosophers of science. Critical rationalism holds that unbiased observation is not possible and a demarcation between natural and supernatural explanations is arbitrary, it proposes falsifiability as the landmark of empirical theories and fasification as the universal emptirical method. You can see from this explanation that religion poses many problems for the scientific world. Instead of the focus of "understanding nature" and "understanding wisdom" like science used to be, it's corruption is that scientists now seek to manipulate nature or manipulate people for the power.
