What exactly is "legal bud?

What wil i advise/do to my best bud when he & his gf will broke apart?

  • got a best buddy... lately, he courted a girl that belongs the same organization where ive been joining.. the girl is kinda "i like boys". judging by her friendster account, she has many boys in her friends list and some of them gives sweet comments. i didnt point this out to my best bud so that there will be no arguements between us i know that there relationship wouldnt last and wouldnt work. this is the first time that my best bud had a girlfriend and i already told him not to give away the whole of him becasue if they will separate, there will be nothing left to him but hurt and pain i know a day will come that they will break apart and separate, now, what would be the best advise i could give to my best bud? im so concern with my best bud if that day would come.. i know he will ask advise to me and admittedly, im so lousy in giving advises... pls help how to move on

    You sound like a very good friend and wise. There are some things in life that one just has to learn for themselves.... You have done all you can, if he cannot see it (or does not want to), there is little you can do, without putting your own friendship in jeopardy. Maybe he will see the light, but if he doesn't, be there for him and be supportive.....thank you for asking my opinion

I think that you need to stay out of this situation as it seems that you do not know this girl and can therefore not judge her purely on what you see. You cannot rescue your buddy based on what you think might happen as it can destroy your friendship in the long run. He will if it is his first relationship go through perhaps what most people go through, and it is what makes us stronger and more aware of what to expect later on. You need to be wise in keeping his friendship. The less you say about emotions the better friends you will be. He needs to know that if ever anything happens he can always go to you. Sometimes silence is the best medicine for a broken heart.Do not spoil this friendship by what you think. The future will have it's own answers. Do not talk about her to him, rather talk to her and let her know that if she really is who you think she is,she must not for the sake of the kind of person he is hurt him and if she does not care about him,rather let him know now before it becomes too hard to get out of. She must also know that in the long run she will want to settle and perhaps he would have been the right one.For you it is best to be just his best buddy.Treasure that.

if and when it happens take a ride to macdonalds and the opening sentence : u wanna talk abt it? the best is to listen and nod your hair. in such situations a listening ear is worth a thousand words. then u think what wld u do in such a situation. and tell him frankly thats your position. hvg lots of bf is not a bad thing, u know. at a young age u shld widen your circle of friends as much as possible - then u will understand humanity better and able to make a better choice when u decide to settle down. cheeeeeers

I think you have good advice. You are looking out for your buddy so he doesnt get hurt on his first fling. But, remember, it is just that. An infatuation. Its not love by any means, its just overly friendly it sounds at this point.
