Is there a disabilities rights movement out there?

Do feminists really care about men's rights? Ever since it began it's been a women's rights movement only?

  • Seriously I've never come across a feminsit organisation that has also supported men's rights. I've only seen them declare that "women are still oppresed and misogyny is still rampant today, and men's rights are unnecerassy because they already have enough." Great excuse to avoid talking of misandry isn't it? Simply declare, exagerate and argue your case of percieced misogyny and oppresion, and there you go, you've dodged the issue of the other sex's rights. I wonder if misandric feminists gained power and formed a matriarchy, they'd still be saying - men's rights what men's rights, they already have enough rights....

  • Answer:

No.. Feminist are such hypocrite, they claim that they are about "equality", but the fact is that they focus on women issue only. How can you say that you are about "equality" when you focus on one issue only?

The NAACP doesn't do anything about cruelty to animals. I suppose you find that confusing. I guess you find lots of things confusing.

Do phlebotomists really care about hairdressers' rights?

Men are screwed. Especially white males. Systematically, methodically castrated. Very sad indeed. FYI, I'm a traditional, non feminazi "she."

No, feminists do not care about men's rights, in the same way that assassins do not lobby in behalf of the rights of politicians. While it is a common mis-assertion that feminism is about "equality," this is the Goebbels-like lie that makes it easier to swallow the unpleasant truth: feminism exists to procure superior rights for women at the expense of men, children, other women, and indeed, of society itself. The inarguably false assertion that feminism is "all about equality" has been made even in response to this question itself. However, feminism's PURPOSE is more accurately revealed in its GOALS than in its deceptive political speech. And what are the goals of feminism? 1) Feminism glorifies the autonomy of the individual woman to the extent that it even romanticizes the irresponsibility of women. The wedding vows of women are worth nothing in the feminist mind. The responsibility of women toward their own children is irrelevant if said responsibility infringes on the autonomy of a woman in any way. Even the stability of society itself is not to be valued if such stability depends on the subjective, perceived "happiness" of any individual woman. 2) Feminism wants women to earn the same wages as men without turning in the same performance as men. Because women work less time than men (for a variety of reasons, ranging from starting work later, to taking time off for sickness and pregnancy, to voluntarily taking time off for child care, etc.), the average woman at age 35 has worked a full 10 years less than men who are her peers at age 35. Yet feminists want all 35-year olds employed in similar occupations to make the same money, in spite of the fact that women bring much less experience, generally fewer accomplishments, and such risks as pregnancy or moving to the table. 3) Feminism says that women are equally capable as men in all traditionally-male professions, then lobbies to have entrance and promotional requirements lowered so that more women can be hired and promoted in law enforcement, fire departments, and the military. 4) Feminism says that women should have the RIGHT to fight on the front lines in the military, without having the OBLIGATION to do so - an option not available to male soldiers, sailors, and airmen. 5) Feminism says that women are equally as strong as men intellectually and emotionally, then claims that women are victims of "domestic violence" if a woman's feelings are not duly regarded by her husband and that women are victims of "sexual harrassment" if they happen to spot a bikini calendar in the workplace. 6) Feminism, while vocally maintaining that men and women are equal, in fact, considers women to be more equal than men. Feminism argues that women are morally superior to men and have propagandized the legal system to hold that women are the superior parent and that women never lie about rape, domestic violence, sexual harrassment, and child abuse, although the evidence suggests that women lie about such matters a majority of the time (see the Criminal Law Professor's Blog at "http://lawprofessors.typepad.com/crimpr… leaving out the quotes, of course). The fact is, feminists realize that feminists (not women) are NOT equal with men, and they despise men for being able to stand on their own, resist the government, lead families, and blaze moral, entrepreneurial, and artistic trails for all the world. Feminists (not women) resent the obvious superiority of men (over feminists - not women) and have banded together out of hatred to harness the power of government to harm men - a concept you rightly classify as "misandry." No feminist, in this forum or any forum, can give an example in which feminism has actually LOBBIED for anything approaching "equality." While the mouths of feminists are filled with empty, meaningless sloganeering such as "equality" and "empowerment," the fact is that all of the ACTIONS of feminists are directed toward securing superior rights for women, regardless of the irresponsibility and immorality of the individual women involved. Any talk of "equality" among feminists is misdirection. Don't listen to their words - watch their hands!

Feminists are fearful of the emptiness of their cause, thats why they repeat those slogans with ever increasing volume. They are afraid if they stop being sensationist, the tide will turn towards actual gender equality - and their ideas will be discarded, their cause lost. Its all about simple self-directed survival of the movement.

It seems to me by the comments of a lot of the women here that not only do they not support men's rights they also do not support the rights of non feminist women. If they cannot support a woman's right to choice in that, and show some respect for that choice, I doubt they can support a man's rights in anything.

Its all about equality....

If Feminism is "all about equality" then George Dubbya invaded Iraq to stop Saddam from giving his home-made weapons of mass destruction to Al Qa'eda. I don't buy either of those arguments. No, Feminism is not only about "women's rights" (which turn out to be a whole lot less than the thing they are advertised to be - like long working hours and no time for the kids... gee, are we talking about a modern girl or a guy in the 1950's?), Feminism is also about extinguishing men's rights. It is often countered that men (allegedly) abused their (supposed) power in the 1950's and so had it removed...AHHH, and being forced to work for a pittance in terrible conditions for long hours including all of Saturday and never seeing one's kids, giving your marriage to the Corporation, while the stress gave you a coronary? That's "power"? REALLY? I'd hate to see what "powerlessness" is, then. No, Feminism decided that men were getting a really good deal by being totally exploited in their working lives that they persuaded women that the work-place was One Long Holiday, where the employer showered you, the wage-slave, with gifts of power and opportunities and money and myrrh and frankincense and gold and a partridge in a pear tree. Well, the Feminists said, that's what all men get, right? So it's a woman's right to get that too! Especially the ten Lords a leaping. Beats me what anyone would DO with such, but, well... if the Feminists say it, IT MUST BE TRUE, right? Then women arrived in the workplace to discover the dreary reality - the boss who has the following saying on the wall: "Yeah, though I walk Through the Valley Of The Shadow Of Death I shall fear no evil For I am the meanest motherf##ker on the block And I carry a f$$king Big Stick" The female bosses have out-done the male bosses as regards being bullies. No, if men had rights - let's face it, all men have is responsibilities, as in " we keep him around to put the blame on" - then the Feminists would immeditaely cry "discrimination". Because if a man had rights, they would be a man's rights. And a man's right is inherently discriminatory, because they are a man's. Your question assumes that misandristic females are yet to gain power ... I can assure you, they have done so long ago. Think of Prohibition. This was forced through by the early Feminist Movement, before women got the vote in some places. Nice to see the priorities were in the correct order - get rid of men enjoying themselves, before providing other women with power. This was in the 1920's! So, at least since that time, there's been an absolutist agenda by Western Feminists to run men outta town. This agenda has been self-serving and also ultimately self defeating. But no matter how many self-induced defeats the Feminists have they keep on blamin' the men. After all, these days it's all the Feminists can agree on.

Good for you for asking this question, it really got me thinking. I had to look the word ''misandry'' up - I didn't realize there would be a word for the hatred of men - surely this says something? Women are still being oppressed throughout the world, the subject of misogyny is a hot potato and I'm not denying this fact. However, the example of the infamous ''CSA'' in Britain (child support agency - now apparently disbanded) shows an occasion where the rights of women were paramount to those of men. In some cases, the fathers paying exuberant amounts of maintenance (the calculations of which were not sound) were driven to suicide by the CSA. There were protests made and calls to look into the operation of the organization. I must admit I was shocked and surprised to see such a blatant disregard for the rights of these fathers - the male sex being oppressed!!! Even though the example I have given is an isolated one, I hope it does go some way towards making people think about the implications of feminism and the bad it can do as well as the good.
