Why do women put their pictures on w4w personal ads, but not on w4m personal ads?

On free sites like Craigslist, personal ads for "woman for woman" frequently feature pictures of the woman, sometimes even erotic pictures. On the other hand, "woman for man" ads rarely have pictures of the woman, and never have erotic pics, why?

they do not want to appear desperate or may be embarrassed if someone they knew seen them in a compromised position. woman that seek woman are more open to their sexuality & are more open to express it. hope this helps, ss

Because good looking straight woman seldom place personal ads. which leaves the not so attractive with no pics hoping a very desprate guy will get to know them deeply and not care about such things. Go meet a single waitress or something.
