What is it really like to be a social worker?

• I find it very hard to make decisions at the best of times! and I dont see how i can make a decision as important as what job I want to do for the majority of my life when I know nothing about said job! so, what is really like to be social worker?? also if anyone knows what it is like to be a police (wo)man or an artist/photographer these are othe rlines of work I am considering so that would be very helpful! personal experience stories please! thank you so much for your help! :)

  It's hard work, unappreciated and frustrating, (as you can see from the answer above.) You'll be overworked, blamed for all the world's problems and expected to work miracles - making bricks without straw. You'd be much better off as a police woman, and though that has its stresses as well, it has more satisfactions too. I don't know much about job opportunities for artists but photography seems to be a very competitive world. Good luck, I wish you well for your future.
