How do I get rid of the status box in myspace?

I've been trying to get back together with an ex and his myspace status message says...?

  • "Greg wants everything to blow over and go back to how it was." Do you think this means he wants to get back together, or wants me to stop trying to get back together? lol I've been trying to get back in contact with him for 3 and 1/2 weeks. He went 100% No Contact on me out of the blue. I left him a voicemail yesterday commenting on his myspace status, and today he changes his myspace status to that message. I guess he could have emailed me or called me in the time in took to change his myspace status. I know he's recently completed rehab for substance abuse and a 12-step program and is in foster care.

    If he hasn't responded to the numerous attempts at contacting him over the course of 3 1/2 weeks you should get the picture hun....clearly he doesn't want to contact you right now and you should respect that. If you do want to get back together with him you need to give him the space that he clearly seems to want right now - you've done what you could to let him know how you feel now the ball is in his court.

if you want an honest opinion keep on reading... it seems to me he doesn't want to have any more contact with you. if he wanted to talk to you, he would have messaged you back. it sounds as if he's going through a tough time in his life. perhaps his message meant he wanted to go back to when his life was less confusing. either way, if and when he's ready to talk to you, he will contact you. otherwise, move on. there are plenty of other men out there! you don't want to have the "stalker" label!

i think given the 100% no contact and his recent time getting clean maybe it is time to remove yourself. i know your feelings are intense and i know you must care for him alot, but maybe it is time for you to take a step back and see that maybe being alone and out of a relationship is crucial to him in his recovery. maybe give him space, give him time and find yourself while he is healing. it is a bad idea to try to analyse his myspace status, all sort of things can be misinterpreted without the accompaning of body language and tone of voice which makes up the most of verbal contact. relax and realise your worth as an indiviaual, it will serve you better in the long run anyway. take care of yourself.
