How can you look up old IM conversations?

I think im socially awkward?

• i have a problem lookin people in the eyes, every time i have a conversation with someone even a cashier i can only look them in the eyes for about 3 seconds than its almost uncontrollable, my eyes just look away. i also have a problem with conversations, i ran into a few girls i use to talk to a lot at the mall and all i could say was heyy, i tried so hard to think of something else to say to them but its felt like i had a traffic jam of a million things to say by than it was to late..this happens with anyone i talk to besides my family..i get like this with some old friends and they think im weird and dint want to talk to me but i believe the best thing i need to do is hang out with all my older friend and see how they are or make new friends but im not sure how i can do that when i cant even have a conversation with people i haven't talked to in a wile

  just teach yourself to relax, when you start getting like that it's a mild panic attack. Find a quick thing to remmber to say like "I haven't seen you in soooooo long, I have so much to ask you about I don't know where to start" which is probably similar to something you thought anyways and never said. It's easy, and as for the eye contact thing that's natural actually. It's subconciously considered sensual or aggressive (depending on the situation) lockin eyes with someone. Don't try so hard to look people in the eye all the time, just go with the flow and look directly at them on occasion.
