Anyone with Sociology college major experience please help?

You as an individual, is the product of society and the people living in it. Go visit another culture and everything might be totally different. You might also learn about other things like how social institutions such as religion, the government, the press effect on society. You might learn about how marketing and the media have a very powerful control over how we act or think You might learn about crime in society and tow he law isn't always just You might learn how social groups, the presence of authority, or social setting might influence your behavior. For example, if you were an army interrogator or prison guard, how would these factors effect your decision to whether torture prisoners or not. Sociology , like other majors out there, offers you one particular, unique way to look at the world. Some people enjoy it, while other thinks its boring and useless. It's up to you determine whether it's worthwhile.
