How would you describe a working class education versus a ruling class education?
-
This Wikipedia article really woke me up to opened my eyes [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sociology_of_education ]. That wiki article basically said that private schools give its students ruling class education, while public schools give its students working class education. And by that way the ruling class designed the public school system so as to keep those who attend public school in the working class (effectively each generation is recreated a working class person much like their parents). That person may be an engineer, or doctor, but still working class, do you get it. Rich kids (those who will most likely get the ruling class education) inherit the power and get the same high quality education that their parents got in private schools. Note though, I'm not saying that working class kids can't get the "ruling class" education like private schooled students have and vice versa. I was struck and shocked because I did observe something like this in real life. In the the Ivy League and private universities the curriculum is structured differently from public universities, and I think the same scenario is on the high school system. As a sociologist, can you give me some differences between a "working class" education and a "ruling class" education?

Answer:
My friend, if you have something that I have already noticed a few years, and the use of students in various levels of study. The idea that those studying in professional school public shall be subordinate and vice versa, has some logic, but this happens only with small groups. What really makes the difference and the head of the students, with more or less by iter course concerned. A hug. Forgive my rotten English.
