I am double majoring in sociology and journalism, but i dont know what i want to do for a career. anyone know?

Can you be more specific about what interests you about each discipline? In the mean time, consider these questions: Which journalists do you admire, and why? What ideas in sociology are most interesting or powerful to you? How can you go about gaining experience (paid or volunteer) in one of these areas while you are still in college? Finally, your career counseling center may offer an alumni network directory where alumni have volunteered to talk with current students about their current work.

Write stories about people's struggles with life.

look into ADVERTISING. lots of mind games and words there.

wait tables, make a lot of money. Seriously, I don't think there are a lot of careers that require a sociology degree. However, Jobs that don't require a degree will often hire college graduates just because that degree proves you have stick-to-it-iveness. But, if you're not too far along with your program, you might want to change majors to something else. Take a few electives, and find your passion. Photography, drama, communications, art, etc. In the end, how much you make will mean less than how much you enjoy your chosen profession.

YOu can get a job in sales, marketing , public relations.,.. managment, Most businesses don't seem to CARE what your degree is in, but just that you have one!!! How about a pharmecuetical Rep.. They make good money!
