What are some good/original sociology research paper topics?

Need ideas for a great topic for Sociology paper (needs to be one that can be easily researched)?

• Need to write a paper for Sociology, and I cannot for the life of me find a topic I am interested in enough to write about it, furthermore, the topics I do like, I cannot find enough information on. It can be any topic as long as it has a Sociological perspective and one I can find enough information on to research the topic. I need 6 different resources, this is a college course, paper needs to be 8 pages long. I am fascinated on learning more on how ADHD effects kids today with regards to their peers and society..etc. but could not find enough research supporting the topic. Need Help, this is a huge part of my grade. (please no religious topics, thank you)

  If you have access through your university to online academic journals - there are plenty of articles that take a sociological perspective on issues relating to ADHD Go to google scholar and try playing around with the relevant terms in that search engine. You will find plenty of articles especially in the sociology of health and medicine journals that are around. You might have to alter your specific focus on 'ADHD childlren and their peers' but you can certainly find enough material for a general overiview of the topic of how this form of disability is a key aspect of social inequality in modern societies. Once you have covered this more general topic then you will be in good shape to do some original work yourself on the more specific questions you want to ask.... Being able to find the gaps in the research evidence, and to ask the appropriate research question yourself, is a major achievement for an undergrad and indicates you are ready to get to postgrad level .....so congratulations ...but do that general information review first ..you''ll be able to construct a reasonable sociological question to introduce your paper once you've read around the topic...then make sure, in your conclusion, you finish with a sentence along the lines of: "however, the research questions that still need to be posed in his field are those focusing on.... "
