How can I open up to people?

How can i be more open and social around people?

• Im not very socialble and when im around people. only people i know or don't talk to often. I like dark colours but im not a goth or emo. I would say im shy but when im around my friends im really talkative and they think im really fun to be around. many people get a bad idea and most people that arent my friends, like just random people around school, think im really shy so they try and ignore me or blank me out. maybe i just talk to people i can trust? i don't know why that is. i want to change but theres alot of people at school who i don't get on with, like the group of bullies that used to bully me, like the tarts and chavs. i guess im just weird,i think i haven't found who i'd fit in with yet. i've never had a boyfriend, i wouldn't say im ugly but i could never admit i was 'pretty'. im just self concious. im 14 and i always feel like i dont fit in at school and that everyones always looking at me. please help idk what to do.

  i am exactly the same i am 15 and i have been like this for as lon as i can remember its just low confidence you may feel that people look at you and talk about you but there not just get on with your life if you can try and be more confident i have tried but it never worked out so now i just keep my self to my self and act normal round my friends things might change when you leave school :)
