How can a teen persuade another teen to smoke cigarettes?
-
look i don t intend to persuade anybody to smoke but i often hear about teens who start smoking from peer pressure and i just want to know how it works
-
Answer:
The teen tells them its cool, its okay to do it and nothing bad will happen. They keep pushing the person to smoke until they either smoke or walk away. If you don't smoke, they'll call you a "pussy" and all these names.

Teenagers target others who want to feel excepted, or attempt to persuade friends. Friends want to be cool or do as their buddies are, and (sadly) often accept. Peer pressure can be both good and bad, though. The above example, obviously, is bad. Smoking can quicken the cycle of age, cause lung cancer (even sooner death), and so much more negative effects. Who wants to waste money on something that only kills you? Good peer pressure, however, is saying things such as, "No, I suggest you study for a good grade in Health instead of getting on Facebook." The outcomes of this type of peer pressure would be great, seeing as getting an A+ in Health would be a nice result, and not negative, as previously mentioned above.

could start off as basic as "hey try this ciggarette, come on just one hit" and then u realize that person might think your 'cool' since u took a hit and u keep smokin just to impress them. i used to smoke and it was worst decision ive ever made, it took me forever to finally get my body back to its regular self (breathing wise). Its simply not worth it not even once.

They usally just say be cool and smoke they just will say how awsome it is and stuff. even though its not so cool when it gives you lung cancer and other bad things.

just tell them to become a motorcycle stunt driver its cooler and safer. once they that running round their head they'll question their motives unless their already addicted then you just gotta wait for them to try stop and once they try give them all the support and help they need
