Purposive or convenience sampling?

If patients with diabetes are referred by physicians to be involved in a research trial about diabetes, what kind of sampling would this be?
Answer:

Likely a medication and blood tests. or try google, browsers have a lot of information to offer. I have had very good luck with that process. You may have to change key words to finally get what you are looking for.
