Male version of Cosmopolitan?

Can there be a male version of SEX & THE CITY without the male characters being labeled CHAUVINIST?

• can we have a popular tv show which portrays sex lives of 4 young yuppie men with.... (1)detailed discussions and their views on women (2)bachelor parties, having a female stripper at home. (3)commitment averse, casual sex oriented behavior. (4)ditching and dumping women who are interested in them because the guys only wanted sex. (5)discussing their sexual encounters is detail. do you think there can be this show without (a)outcries from feminists of MISOGYNY (b)general discomfort of women (c)the male characters being labeled CHAUVINIST PIGS. do you think a certain mindset, certain politically correct mindset, feminist mindset JUDGES male sexuality HARSHER than womens. if so why? is it necessary? what could be chauvinist, misogynist, objectifying behavior on part of men may be seen as LIBERATION if done by women. please deny this if you dont agree...but do respond logically

  Well, feminists tend to hate on Sex and the City as is. It portrays as pretty shallow and empty. People need to get that "men vs. women, RARR i'm a feminist and i eat men for breakfast!" mentality out of their heads. Feminists don't hate men. at all. That's not what it's about. That would be completely contrary to all of our core beliefs. It's about equality for everyone.... men, women, minorities, the disabled, the list goes on and on... So no, I don't think they could pull off a male version without a lot of criticism since that didn't even come close to happening with the female version.
