How can I not be so scared of injections?

I have done MBBS, I am an Intern now, and still scared of Giving Injections! what do i do? :(?

  • OKay! so, I have completed my MBBS, and now, I can be formally called as a doctor. I am scared of injections! So, how will I give one to my patients? When I take it in hand, my hand trembles. I am very scared . PLease Help. What Can I do to overcome this fear :(

    Close your eyes. ;) Seriously, you know the anatomy and the technique. Just be more confident in yourself. The first few times is always the hardest.

Hi my dear sweet sister. According to me you too sacred of injections when you was child that's Why the same habit continues from your childhood. To avoid this just prepare mentally. I think this fear is just for some days. After it'll solve itself. Don't be worry. Your injections won't leads to death. Injections made to cure the disease. So be happy and inject without fear. try to inject on pumpkin and practice with it it will get you confidence and when you inject patients think like its pumpkin. try it , it will work.
