Why am i shy around loud girls?

  • Okay so i am pretty cool and confident when it comes to talking to girls but lately i have been getting shy around loud girls and why is that? I have always been cool talking to shy and outgoing girls but its the really loud ones who talk outloud in class that i am having trouble with why??

    It makes a difference whether they are loud because of wanting attention or loud because they are uncomfortable themselves. There is a difference between being assertive (speaking up for yourself, asking questions, etc) and aggressive (loud laughter, coarse jokes, swearing every other word, etc). If you can get them talking to you about something they are interested in, maybe they won't feel so uncomfortable and won't have the need to be so loud and obnoxious.

It's usually because you don't want to sound abnoxious. But for me, I feel the same around outgoing guys. Its mostly because I dont want to emberess myself because loud people tend to make fun of people more, from my view xP

Maybe their loudness intimidates you because our subconscious mind tend to associate being loud with being aggressive.
