What does it mean to dream you're running TO something, not away?

Dreaming about a dream for the past 11 nights straight; same thing happens every time.. does it mean something?

• Ok recently a guy i sort of know to see told me a story. It was about the witch trials. He told me about a story and how his great great (probaly a few more "greats" grandmother was burned to the stake for witchcraft When i looked white enough he told me it was only a story that was passed through his family but it probaly means nothing. Since then i've been having these dreams where i'm in this forest unknown and i'm there with 2 people in my year (who i never even talk to so i dont know where they came from).. i'm there but my body is lying on the ground undisturbed looking asleep but i'm there. Suddently these people start shouting "bUrn them" and they start running after us with potch forks. We reach the end of the forst racing for our lifes we find a river with a steep hill and a little reddy brown boat floating in it.. we jump in it and begin to peddle. We s till here the screams of burn them (an agry corwd, its sounds like loads) running after us. So how after that we end up in this tree house which is in a tree as high as plans go. We can still distantly hear burn them... ----- I know this is really wierd and it creepsME out. I've had the same dream 11 nights in a row and nothing changes in it its always the same could it possibly mean something? i mean that story he told me meant nothing to me (it didnt even scare me and look at the result

  this is a pretty normal, even thought pretty exaggerated response of your subconsciousness to fear. that witch story obviously had an impact on your mind. try o grow out of it. let go of the pain you feel about the witches that were born. let go of the fear and the dismay. you will be fine.
