For people with jobs requiring them to move every year, what is the impact on the family - spouse, kids?

    It's difficult on spouse and kids. They leave all their friends and relatives behind. They have to get use to new schools, stores, environment. I have a friend that has been married three times because every time he moved to another state he, would lose his wife. She would miss her family and friends or would meet someone new in her new environment.
