How would you apply for a job with the state?

How i can state my mistake in the previous job in a favourable way?or how to state reasons for leaving the job

• i only stay in my previous job for two-month.i quit it because i made a mistake for lack of experience.how can i tell it to my future boss?

  You can state that you left because the company was moving in a direction that was not made clear to you when you were interviewing. You can say you accepted the position under a pretense that "this" was the companies mission statement, and directions. Once you accepted that position you started to realize that the company was moving in a different direction, and one that you were not comfortable with. No need to declare a lack of experience.
