How to find an entry level engineering job?

I am trying to find a Job , But my uncle's family is of no Help , What should I do ?

• I am totally confused in my life right now. I am trying to find a Job here in texas as an entry level job ( electrical engineering). Now one of my friends told me that it's almost impossible to get a job that's entry level in texas because these big companies don't have time to "Train" candidates and all that. So I am going to go through some recruiters because of Time Constraints. What I mean by that is - I ran away from my home in new york due to abuse and is staying at my uncles house ( who's starting to get irritated with me since he doens't understand my mind set ). So eventhough going through Recruiters/Consultants might hurt me because of the fact that it could be only a 6 month position or so , and if I decide to get an apartment , I am afraid if that will affect my payments if I dn't have a job for a while ( maybe I am getting little anxious ) ..

  Huh.... I hope you get a job. Try some of the schools. They often have job referals or even placement. It might also be a good place to find cheap housing if you get kicked out.
