What is the scientific explanation for dreams?

I'm having sexual dreams and I would like a logical explanation of why I am?

I'm 14 and my sexual dreams vary, sometimes they are my ex girlfriend, a stranger, or even a family member which I am very disgusted by. I am more mature than most kids my age and I'm already, romantic or intimate. The girlfriend I am having dreams about is very special to me and we had oral sex before. She suddenly moved and I never saw her again and I think my dreams about her are symbolic, maybe symbolizing my distress or feelings for her. Will somebody please give me a logical explanation? Thank you all very much!

Thats perfectly normal , dude . Hormones reach the peak level during this age , there is a desperation , you must have read about testosterone and dihydro testosterone. These hormones kick you brain to think about sexual stuff . So its no big deal . Just enjoy your puberty !
