Would it be better to major in business or economics?

both are very good majors. I am going for Marketing but I have considered getting a Business Degree and I do have an interest with economics. I have met many econ majors and its kind of hard to get a job with one, depending on where you live. Economics is very useful when investing in financial instruments or commodoties. Business administration or management is only good when owning your own business, there are opportunities to work for large corporations with a Business administration degree. You have to ask yourself do I want to be employed or self employed? Business and Economics degree is more for self employment.
