Which field is good for doing job in computer?

With the current economy is majoring in computer science a good field to be?Will good job prospects be there?

I am currently a math major but would love to switch to computer science.....maybe. People say math and science are our future and things wiht computers are good, but what jobs can you get with a computer science degree? why is it good to have and is it or any degree worth it with the current economy?....arent all computer jobs being otusourced overseas?

If you can make it through and graduate with a degree its a great idea...you have to be pretty intelligent to get a degree in computer science...my roommate tried and wanted to shoot himself. don't worry about jobs..if your knowledgeable in computers someone will always find room for you. I would purse it. Technical education is always useful.
