Is the boom in the call center industry a bane in the asian economy?

• This question has already been raised, and debated a number of times. The call center industry is the fastest growing I.T industry in the Philippines and India. China is fast approaching. but still, any industry has it own pros and cons. I would like to hear your stand on this.

  I find it all odd. But it is perfectly in keeping with the current attitude toward sending American jobs to Timbuktu to up the profits of major corporations. Tragic.
