What Should I Major In If I Want To Travel The World Looking For Ancient Artifacts And Studying Different...?

  • ...groups of people? I am currently a Biological Sciences major, but am thinking of changing to Anthropology with a focus on Biology and Archaeology. My dream is to travel the world and find artifacts and the like... kind of like Indiana Jones. :P Either that or work in a museum (I've always loved the museum). Will majoring in Anthropology be a stepping stone for living this life?

    Anthropology IS the major you want to major in if you want study cultures or be an archaeologist. Archaeology and Cultural are 2 subfields of Anthropology (along with Physical/Biology and Linguistics). Archaeology today is not like Indiana Jones (or Tomb Raider) but there are jobs available out there.
