How impractical is a major in anthropology?

Should I be an Anthropology Major?

• Im a freshman in college, on the track to med-school. Right now my major is undeclared, though the classes I am taking this semester is what a normal Bio or Biochem major would take. I was looking into studying abroad, and you receive lots of credits in Anthropology and the classes look interesting. One year of studying abroad [Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer] would satisfy my needs for an Anthropology major. Should I make my major Anthropology? or stick with something like Biochemistry, Biology, Psychology, Biomedical Engineering. My interests includes neuroscience, the brain and how it works and human nature as a whole. Note again : I'm on a track for med school. Thanks ^_^
