I really think you're confused! Perhaps the real issue is not about evolution but one of interpretation of spirituality. Also, the bible is not the oldest recorded text. The really controversial problem is what was included in the bible and its interpretation. The bible is not a historical record. The scriptures were written centuries after the events described. Whether the earth is billions or thousands of years old does not change that its creation is miraculous. In terms of religion, it's not the same as spirituality. As far as Darwin is concerned, I can tell you have not even read what he wrote and that you're repeating some rhetoric you heard from someone that has misinterpreted the lessons of the bible. The greatest sins in recorded history has been people going to war in the name of religion. You have some weird idea that believing in what you call evolution and believing in God are two mutually exclusive events. Perhaps the real issue is that you're beliefs about God are not shared with 99+% of the Judeo/Christian world population. The good news is that God gave us spiritual volition and God being God doesn't take offense one way or another because of who he is. Although your nine points seems logical to you and the followers of whatever you believe, they are flawed nonsense. The God I am connected with has a great sense of humor because he's does not interfere with you interpretation of truth or reality in spiritual or physical world. I have always found that putting rational arguments to Bible freaks is a monumental waste of time. Dogmatic is too small a word. I shan't even deign to answer such a ridiculous proposition.

So this argument will only convince people who believe in that particular text. 8. No. There could be advantages to a community as a whole to having homosexual individuals: particularly, if resources are tight, people who can do all the things heterosexuals do (hunting, guarding, gathering, childcare, etc) without adding to the population. Compare the situation with the sickle-cell and cystic fibrosis mutations: they give disadvantages to a minority, but are good for the gene pool in general, because they give resistance to malaria and cholera.

You do not belong in any science section, you do not search for truth. Rather, you try and cement your ideals through a man-made book. The bible was written in the time of allegory- remember this. Do not rely on any god, take responsibility for yourself and the world around you.

Simple. There is no proof whatsoever that the Christian Bible is anything more than a collection assembled in the 5th century by a series of synods by elders of the early church, who voted on which assortment of human-written mythological texts to compile into a book to use for the organized religion they were setting up as a major bureaucracy. You can't de facto use something that has no basis in truth or reality (other than your "belief" that it is true) to prove or disprove anything else. Evolution and the great antiquity of the Earth and Universe, have massive amounts of proof. What is stated in the Bible was an invention of human imagination. If you choose to believe it, that's your choice. But don't waste your energy on a foolish attempt to justify your naiveity to other people who are much smarter and better educated than you are. You are like a color blind person trying to convince the rest of the world that everything is black and white because that's all you can see. Give it up.
