How can I get smarter?

Stronger brain?how can some1 get smarter?!?

  • am a very absent minded person , i always forget what i was going to write and what i was going to say or do, and i never remember anything unless it has something to do with something i really like and im not even 20 years old yet. i know that there are some games or books or even food that can help you get a stronger memory and make u smarter. any advices?

    there are some mind-boosting games like "brain genius" but it doesn't make your IQ rise but it may help you with your memory. I think your problem is lack of concentration not smartness issues. try games which you have to really focus on what you're doing. give the Chess game a shot. also try focusing on a conversion you had with someone before(which you like) and try to remember the details. do this with movies you like too.being absent minded has got to do with stress too, try to relax maybe go to some quiet place(maybe in the nature) to unwind. also doing brain work like mathematics will work too. good luck

It is perfectly normal to be only smart at things you are interested in. The best way to remember something is by repetition. I used to make flash cards. I would go through until I made a mistake and start over. You would end up repeating the first cards over and over but you would remember them. When it came to things I am interested in, I would read everything more than once. You really have to want to understand but then it is easy.

Being conscious of what you are thinking and doing 100% of the time will help you gain knowledge and become more aware of life. Letting your mind wander where it feels like is the number one reason people fail. You must keep re-focusing and want to pay attention to things so that you do not forget. Your not really forgetting, you are just not paying attention from the beginning so you do not remember what occurred in the past because your mind was floating away.

Nobody remembers things they aren't interested. Most people who are intelligent, in my experience, just have unusual interests. Smartness is a very unhelpful concept.
