What is the most important feature that separates humans from animals?

Human speech is a very highly evolved form of communication. Some birds are able to mimic human speech and certain apes can be taught to communicate (in human terms) with sign language. When people lie, it is not too different than an animal bluffing in order to intimidate/deter a potential rival/predator. These are all forms of deliberate deception who's purpose is survival. There are animals that kill for fun. Chimps in the wild attack and kill other chimps for fun. I would probably go for the standing erect. I would probably put 'the concept of right/wrong, justice/injustice' first on that list. This is all my opinion, though. I could be wrong.

Talking. Animals lie.Predators cover up kills to conceal from their own kind,a form of lying. Dogs lie when they bury something and then walk an elaborate back trail so no one can find it. Cat's kill for fun.In the rural area I live a cat that was frequently observed,I stumbled on the cat with about 5 baby rabbits dead and in a pile,the cat sitting next to them. There are many stand up comics,if they qualify,if not how about Bears,the ones in the woods too.

Animals lie. They just don't do it with verbal language. They camouflage themselves, sometimes to escape, sometimes to sneak attack. Animals also kill for fun. Every see a cat play with a mouse? They are definitely having fun. Verbal language is definitely an important, not only for communication, but because it enables us to think in more than just pictures, scents, and other sensations. Thinking would be impossible without language!

Humans are different from animals by definetly the brain. God gave humans a different brain from animals, which enables humans to be more civilized, talk, etc. However it challenges humans with problems such as lying, killing for fun, etc.
