What do you think about the paragraph i wrote on Evolution and Creation any sudgestions?

Everyone believes an eternal unchanging Logic runs the Universe & created man. Atheists call it Natural Law or Natural Selection. The Ancient Greeks called it the Logos. And Christians say the Logos is God. (John 1:1) God is the notion that the Logos is alive & intelligent. Religions make many claims regards what this Intelligence expects of us. Believers personify the Logos. Atheists take the opposite course. While admitting the Logos compels the creation of life & intelligence, They absolutely hold it possesses neither of these qualities. I suspect the truth is somewhere in between. See the Biblical Creation story isn't a theory in the scientific sense. It's a moral tale. A mythic story to convey a spiritual truth. To be blessed by God, we must seek to understand His laws. But God is the Logos & the Logos is the logic of the Universe. The Logos is Nature. If you fail to learn Natures Laws, Nature will punish you. The more you understand them though, the more Nature will bless you. Now how does this differ from the notion that you must seek to understand God to receive his blessing? Or that failure to learn God's laws earns his punishment? If Christians say God created man & Atheists say Nature created man & God & Nature are both the Logos, the EVERYONE believes the Logos created man. We are not here by accident; Nature SELECTED the form we would take. If you believe the Logos is alive, that the Logos is God, then Evolution is a theory on HOW God created us. Understand? You only have a conflict between Christianity & Darwinism if you think the Biblical stories are hard science. The stories are not meant to covey a precise description of how God created us, only a clear belief that he did. And science is not intended to inspire us to love each other. It does not exist to help us be moral or loyal or united to the well being of our families or our nation - THAT is what Religion evolved to do. Religion exists & persists because it conveys a survival advantage on those who believe. Unfortunately Evolution is typically taught by Liberal Socialists who despise Religion because of their Marxist roots paint it as a tool of oppression. Hence Evolution is generally taught as a 'proof' of Atheism. But the actual theory is anything but. Evolution is the theory that even in the absence of intelligent design, that intelligence will emerge. And once intelligence emerges, do you think it will refrain from designing? Does that even REMOTLY sound like a theory that says there is no higher intelligence than ours? Because to me it sounds like Darwin infers the Evolution of a sublime intelligent designer is all but inevitable. So don't let the idiot Socialists trash your Religion because it isn't science. Religion was never supposed to be science & if you think it is you are missing the point. The Bible is about beliefs that empower you to win the Darwinian competition. Evolution teaches things like which fossilized primate bones are most likely our ancestors. The Bible teaches things like how to treat your spouse and children. Now which do you think is more relevant to your Darwinian success?

This paragraphs needs to be edited heavily, although it is a pretty good analysis of Creationism and Evolutionism for what your grade-level seems to be. Oh, and by the way, the only thing that really bothered me (because I don't know how old you are, therefore don't want to criticize you too hard if you are young) is you have misspelled Australopithecus afarensis and Australopithecus africanus. These are the correct spellings. Keep up the good work and the interest!

Creationism is not a theory. A theory is a scientific term and means an idea that can be tested and falsified. Creationism cannot be tested, and therefore is not a theory. Evolution has been tested many many times in many different ways, but never falsified. Therefore, evolution is a theory. It can be confusing because in common use the word theory is thrown around as though it means just any idea or even a guess.

You spelt Australopithecus wrong. Saying Darwin 'created' the theory of evolution doesn't exactly sound right. 'Discovered' evolution has a better sound to it but still doesn't sound right. Perhaps a better term would be 'realized'. There are millions of fossils, not just 1000's. Carbon dating can only be used to date species up to a about 62,000 years. It can't be used to carbon date older fossil in the millions of years, which human ancestors are. You only see the story of creation through the words of Moses, if you would read ONLY the words of Jesus and stop using the words of Moses you would see a completely different story. The Book called Revelation is the TRUE story of Creation as given by the Christ Jesus.

You are a "Theistic Evolutionist" .The older you get the more of these little or big conflicts with the Bible you will come across to really make you think about why you believe what you do. As for your paragraph I would grade it a "B"at an 8-9th grade level. You mat want to break up the paragraph and include some more contrasting points showing where the Bible is specifically opposed to science. Needs a good edit before you turn it in. Good Luck!
