Is there a human version of a male mating ritual?

Many animals have mating rituals in which the males must partake in some display of dominance to get a female to mate with him / show that he is ready to mate. For example, a male peacock dances around with his feathers fluffed, a male betta fish blows a nest of bubbles, a certain type of male penguin builds a nest of pebbles, and other animal males may fight or sing. Do humans have a comparable ritual? If so, what is it? Or did we once, but it was lost as we evolved and became civilized?

The male's part in today's ritual is the opening up of his wallet and dropping cash until the female is satisfied that he will make a worthy mate

Such an obvious answer..friending & de-friending dramas on face book, texting to get laid or pick up a date, calling to hook-up, posting questions here asking.."does he/she likes me?", acting cool to get laid, putting tons of makeup on to get guys, dressing trashy to be sexy... !
