Where can I find the monologue from Truly Madly Deeply?

Where can I find a good monologue, that my parents would find "appropriate."?

  • The monologue is for SSA (Serious Solo Acting) for forensics. Anything with sex my parents would most likely find inappropriate and offensive. I would prefer that it be written by an african american female point of view.

The Lucien monologue from Boys Next Door is very powerful and, though written for a male, very easily translates to female (it's actually gender neutral from what I remember). I played Lucien a couple of years ago in Sevierville TN and, even though I am white, I somehow pictured him as black (you'll have to ask my therapist why :) ) Anyway check it out.
